The Castello Boutique Resort & Spa is joining the Global Wellness Day Project and will be offering a variety of complimentary activities related to wellness and healthy living.
Global Wellness Day is a social project dedicated to living well and to increasing consciousness about the value of our lives. More than 100 countries have joined together to celebrate Global Wellness Day which takes place every year on the second Saturday of June.

Hatha Yoga Practice

Hatha yoga concentrates on physical health and mental well-being. Hatha yoga uses bodily postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation (dyana) with the goal of balancing and harmonizing the body, mind and emotions.

Wellness Breakfast Buffet

Tasty, nutritious and vitamin-filled foods and beverages will be served in our breakfast buffet where a special ”Wellness Food Corner” will have Cretan & Greek specialties made with natural, local ingredients.

Yin Yoga

Deep relaxing yoga to stretch and allow the body to rejuvenate. The yin postures are all practiced on the floor and each is held for a longer period than usually. During this time, we are able to just be with what is. It is not a time to control the mind or the body, but a time to be a witness to everything that comes up. Without trying to change things, by just accepting ourselves as we are, we begin to feel the yin parts of ourselves.

Ayurvedic Couple's Head and Face massage

Reconnect with your partner, offering each other a relaxing and rejuvenating massage. From the treasures of the Ayurvedic tradition. A great way to relax and rejuvenate both you and your loved one by learning the gentle art of touch of the Ayurvedic tradition, spending quality time together and enjoying this invigorating experience together.
